Animal humane society located in Waco that promotes animal welfare. The Waco Humane Society is a no kill shelter that helps over 4,000 animals a year.

Apart of Mission Waco that works with agricultural projects and renewable energy.

Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic on May 12-17, 2024. A Christian centered nonprofit that is dedicated to helping children and families escape violence, hunger, trafficking, and more. More information about the upcoming trip to come!

End the Backlog

End the Back log is a program of the Joyful Heart Foundation with the mission to transform society’s response to sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, and support survivors’ healing to end this violence forever.

How do I become a member of AMWA?

To become a member of AMWA you must attend the first general meeting of the semester and pay dues before the deadline. To maintain active membership status you must obtain at least Bronze tier.

Membership Requirements are ranked into three categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold. Bronze status is what is considered an Active member. Any status' above that are beneficial when applying to be an officer, and show that you are a dedicated AMWA member!
